For a year they courted...she tolerated his crazy athletic obsessions and wackadoo friends; he supported her passion for gardening and need to travel.

A crazy pup was thrown into the mix; a family was forming.

One warm late November morning, he recreated their first picnic date and walk at Lake Kathrine. Nearing the waterfall, he nervously bent to one knee (pup by his side) and popped the big question. She was stunned silent for a moment, until she saw the size of the ring, then knew she couldn't pass up the opportunity of a lifetime. Crazy celebration ensued shortly after at their house; filled with friends and family, the love and support flowed as easily as the food and drinks.
