Megan and Lucas first matched on Hinge, a dating app, in January of 2020. Shortly after, they went on their first date to dinner and axe throwing. The two finished axe throwing unscathed and continued to go on dates of ice skating, comedy shows, and hockey games. On February 16, 2020 Megan and Lucas decided to enter into a relationship. The first year of the pandemic and of their relationship brought many adventures and trips to Boston, Utah, Austin, and Puerto Rico. Just after a year of dating, Megan began travel nursing in March of 2021. Although long distance brought its challenges, Megan and Lucas managed to see each other often and visited more cities including Charleston, San Diego, Scottsdale, Sedona, and more. Megan moved back to the Denver area in March of 2022 and on April 30, 2022 Lucas proposed to Megan on a hike in Evergreen, CO.
