We had our first date at First Watch, and we got to know each other over brunch. We both knew there was a connection from the beginning and set up a second date soon after.

Jacob has a small hockey obsession, so he was excited to share one of his interests with Megan. Jacob took her to her first NHL game and now she is a Canes fan too!

We are both NC State Alums, so we enjoy going and supporting the Pack on every field (court, rink, etc.)!

We moved into our apartment with the help of our friends and family. This was a tiring but fun day and a big step in our relationship.

Megan's second home is at the barn with her horse Biggsy. Jacob loves Biggsy and enjoys hanging out with Megan at horse shows (especially Tryon because it's boujee!)

The proposal! Jacob (and Jade, Laura, and Paige) did an amazing job planning the surprise proposal. Jade and Laura planned a photoshoot with Megan, but in reality, Jacob had hired the photographer to capture the proposal. He got on one knee at the WRAL gardens. We are so excited to be engaged and planning our wedding! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
