James or Jamie (as many of you know him) is originally from Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. He moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2013, to attend NC State for undergrad. James accepted a job in Raleigh at Lenovo, following graduation.

Megan was born & raised in Clemmons, North Carolina. She graduated from UNC Wilmington in 2016 & moved to Raleigh after college. Megan also accepted a job in Raleigh at Lenovo, following graduation.

Although we worked in the same corporate building & found that we had many mutual friends in common, we ironically had not crossed paths before. A mutual friend introduced us at a Lenovo work event in April 2019 & we went on our first date in June of that year at Mofu Dumpling Shoppe. We officially started dating (this is up for debate depending on who you ask!) on the 8th of September that year, James's 26th birthday.

Fast-forward four years to September 28th, 2023, to Megan’s family beach trip in Topsail. James proposed while taking our pup, Cannoli, for a walk on the beach. Megan has grown up vacationing at Topsail Island & it has been a special place for her family for generations & absolutely now will forever be!

We have felt so much love & support for our relationship & look forward to celebrating our wedding weekend with each & every one of you!
