Megan and Bryan first met on a float trip organized by Bryan and a mutual friend. The day was filled with fireworks, Taco Bell, and even a bit of dumpster diving. They exchanged nothing but a BeReal, unsure if their paths would cross again.

In a spontaneous move, Bryan invited Megan to a Post Malone concert in Wisconsin via a BeReal comment. What was meant to be a group outing ended up just being the two of them.

On a whim, Megan reached out to Bryan the morning of July 23 to see if he wanted to go to a Noah Kahan concert in Council Bluffs, IA. They had only hung out a few times before, but Bryan knew he didn’t want to miss this chance. Just before the concert began, he asked Megan if she considered it a date. She, of course, said yes!

After a day spent together—lunch, a movie, ice cream, and dinner—Bryan asked Megan if she wanted to be his girlfriend as he was driving her back to her car, making things official.

This was the day Megan knew she was going to marry Bryan.

Fast forward 1 year, 3 months, and 17 days from July 31st, 2023, Bryan proposed, marking the next chapter of their journey together.
