The saying “when you know, you know” couldn’t be truer. We randomly met on a Monday night in Pensacola and since that moment were inseparable. We still debate who made the first move but either way, as soon as we saw each other, we were hooked.
“From the very first second I walked in the same room as her it was like staring at the sun, she was the only thing I could see. I thought I was going out to meet up with a buddy, never once crossed my mind I would be meeting the person I would spend the rest of my life with. Within 30 minutes of talking to her I knew she was the woman of my dreams. By the end of the night both of our friends were saying “y’all would be the ones to get married” and they couldn’t have been more spot on. - Greg
“I was out of town for my friend’s birthday, her brother is a friend of Greg’s, which is how we met. I didn’t know Greg was in our group but I saw him looking at me and I thought “oh he’s cute”. We finally talked after that and started talking about hunting and fishing. I knew he was hooked when I showed him the buck I shot a couple months before but I was obsessed too!! Our friends by the end of the night were saying we’ll probably end up getting married. I was just thinking (and telling my friends) I definitely just met my husband. I was only visiting Pensacola for 5 days, everyday we hung out, and talked every second when I went back home.” - Megan
We met on June 22, 2020 and were engaged on June 5, 2022. In July of 2022, we moved to Jacksonville to buy a house and explore some before we pick where to settle down. Throughout the years, we have traveled to 18 states, adopted a dog and cat, and dominated numerous hunting seasons. We dream of traveling the country, potentially living the camper life as Greg travels for work, before building a house and settling down on a piece of land. Of course, God has his own plan, but we are excited to see where the years take us and what life has in store for us. No matter what happens throughout our life, knowing we have each other, and our foundation is the most reassuring thing.
“I found both love and a best friend in you.”
