Phone Policy
We respectfully ask that everyone be prepared to put away all electronic devices and refrain from taking pictures or video throughout the ceremony. We hired an amazing photographer and videographer who will be capturing the day we share together.
What should I wear?
We want you to get dressed up with us on our day! We are requesting semi-formal attire.
Please no jeans, shorts, short sleeve shirts or any other casual clothing.
Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories, creams, eggshell, blush or any other light colors that may appear white in photos. Please remember this day is about Nathan and Megan.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Both will be taking place at Ivory Meadows in Yellow Springs. Weather permitting- the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, and the reception will be held indoors.
What time should I arrive?
We ask that you arrive to the venue at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony starting, to ensure you are able to sit where you wish.
What happens if I am running late to the ceremony?
Our day is being coordinated on a strict schedule, this means we cannot push back start times due to people running late. If you happen to be running late, you will not be allowed into the ceremony. This avoids distractions for not only other guests but also the bride and groom.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
If you can not make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
What happens if I do not RSVP by the deadline?
If we do not receive your RSVP by May 1st, you will be marked as "not attending." We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide a total guest count to the venue and vendors within a timely manner and cannot accept late RSVP's due to this.
Can I bring a date?
We will only be able to accommodate guests formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Why aren’t my kids invited?
We want to give all of our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, so we are only allowing a few specifically invited children.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is parking for our guests. Cars may be left overnight but must be picked up by 10:00 am the next day.
Will there be a shuttle service?
Yes, we have arranged complimentary transportation to and from the wedding for our guests staying at the Courtyard by Marriott.
Our shuttle will begin to load up guests at 3:45 and leave at 4:00 to arrive at the venue.
