We found each other senior year of high school 7 years ago. Bonding over band class and post-competition Steak and Shake, we perpetually mixed friend groups. Finally, in March 2018, after a movie date, it was official. After that, we were inseparable.

It was hard to be apart for our first semester of college when Jonathan went to Florida for school. When he returned to Indiana to finish college in a different major, everything felt easier. Those 4 years were trying, nonetheless. Lots of tears over school and drama, but we had each other and we found that was all we needed to become our best selves.

It was the summer before our senior year when we continuously joked with each other about being married to the point we went ring shopping together. This eventually led to our engagement in the fall of 2021. Jonathan not only planned for us to have senior pictures taken that day but also planned for our engagement and photo shoot.

After graduation, we swept off to St. Pete, Florida for a year of adventure. Along the way, we crossed paths and gained the best pup ever Kodak. Living together was exciting and the independence was exhilarating. However, we knew we couldn't stay there forever, so we returned to Indy to be with our strong support system to help Megan succeed through her master's program.

Where we go from here, time can only tell, but we are so excited for our journey together.
