2007 - Michael and I first met at a church function

We attended an event through each of our church’s, we met as we had mutual church friends who attended Michael’s church.

2007, July 25th- We made our relationship Official

I went on a trip to Guatemala with one of my friends who was looking to adopt a baby. On the first day, I was speaking with Michael and we started to talk about how we saw each other, and decided to take a step forward and make our relationship official. We continued to see each other at church events and whenever we could get our parents to make the trip for us to see each other.

2010 - Making the distance work with a long distance relationship while i was at Disney on an internship with my sister Dawn

2011 - Michael Proposed! I said yes!

Michael came to my home around Christmas, and proposed to me that night. We had talked about it over the last year, and we just did not officially decide to plan anything until after I was done with college. But we knew we were both looking forward to being together.

2012 - Jared came into our lives

In 2011, Just after finishing up my first couple years of college, I found out I was going to have a baby. From that point on, We were dedicated to bringing Jared into this world and starting our family together. Jared was born on January 18th. Jared was born with a cleft lip and palate, so we spent a lot of time working with him to have his mouth repaired, and still to this day is working on this still. In December, we took our first family trip to Disney World with Jared.

2014 - We moved to Solon

Moving into Michael’s parents home after living with my mother for a couple of years was a challenge for us, but we made it work. Finding new jobs and doing everything we could to make sure we were working to build a life for ourselves and Jared.

2015 - Moved into our first apartment

Early into 2015, we found out we were going to have another baby. At that time, we just knew we were not going to be able to do this with the space we were already taking up at Michael’s parents home. We started looking for an apartment almost immediately and within the next few weeks, we were already moving into our apartment. We had a trip planned with my mother and sister to go to Hershey, PA for my mother’s birthday. Not so long after, Andrew was born on September 21st.

2017 - Hard times and new beginnings

In Mid-2016, we found out Megan was pregnant with our daughter, Serenity. We did everything with our Boys to create an announcement, both Jared and Andrew were thrilled to know they were having a baby sister. Into January, on the 30th in 2017, we were devastated with the passing of Andrew. One month later, Serenity was born bringing some light into our lives even with our loss. It was very difficult for us to work with Jared and Serenity throughout the coming year, and we just needed to stick things out and work on ourselves as well as taking care of our children.

2021 - We took a trip to Gatlinburg with Michael’s family

2022 - We went on our second family trip to Disney, this time with Jared and Serenity

2024 - We finally bought our first home together

2026, June 24th - Today is the day we get Married!
