Megan walked into a Crossfit gym 9 years ago and met Alex. They connected over their love of Jake Owen's music and sharing stories of their nieces and nephews. When Megan had to deploy, Alex supported her throughout the long 6 months. Alex had opened his own gym and naturally Megan joined when she returned home. They talked every single day, about any and everything Theodore Roosevelt, books, music, ridiculous funny videos. When Alex had decided to close his gym, Megan realized she was most likely never going to see him again and she didn't want to lose him! So, within days of the gym closing, they decided they were meant to be together - or finally Megan realized it ha! And by March 22, 2020, they made it official! On September 17th, 2023, Megan's family gathered at her parents home for their last Packer party. With Taylor's help, Alex organized everyone in Megan's family to take photos during halftime, in front of the tree they'd taken photos in front of since Megan was little. When it came time for Alex & Megan to take couple pictures, Alex got down on one knee! After a lot of tears and laughs, Megan said "Yes!!"
