Like all great modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. After matching on a dating app, we wasted no time—within hours, we were clinking glasses at 160 Main in Northville. Drinks turned into rooftop Fireball shots (we know, classy), and that’s when Megan had the shocking realization: "Wait... he might actually be kind of cool." Thank you hinge for doing what all our friends had failed to do; introduce us to our favorite person.

One month later, after stage diving to a punk band called No Pressure in Cleveland (yes, really), Tom asked Megan to be his girlfriend—possibly the most romantic timing possible. She said yes, and we haven't looked back since. Since then, love blossomed. Megan was drawn to Tom's kind heart, unwavering patience, passion for his goals, and the fact that somehow he finds joy in navigating her many personalities. Tom fell head over heels for Megan's intelligence, drive, thoughtfulness, sense of humor, and--let's be honest--because she's his ultimate emo queen.

Since then, we've built a life full of adventure, laughter, music, love, and lots of fur. We live with our two cats, Toby and Mabel, and our wildly enthusiastic dog, Koda.

Together, we’ve traveled the world—eating pasta in Italy, dodging pigeons in London, pretending we understand wine in France, lounging in the Caribbean, and searching for tacos in Mexico. But no matter where we are, you’ll usually find us doing one thing: seeing live music. We've been to hundreds of concerts including the festival where we fell in love--When We Were Young Festival--where we have now returned three more times. Megan has proudly turned Tom into a Swiftie, seeing Tay three times this last year, and Tom has dragged Megan—lovingly—to see the band called The Maine twelve times. TWELVE. That's love.

Together, we have taught each other a lot: Tom has patiently been trying to transform Megan into a U of M football fan (Go Blue!), and Megan has lovingly introduced Tom to the finer things in life--like good wine that doesn't come in a box.

Somehow, between the stage dives, passport stamps, football cheers, and many, many pet snuggles, we found something pretty special in each other. We love sharing spontaneous adventures and embracing all the quirks that make life (and each other) wonderful.
