Bumble, we greatly thank you!

Megan had just moved to Charlotte in the summer of 2019 and was on Bumble to meet friends and go on a few dates to meet people. On June 30th, we had our first date at Amelies in Uptown Charlotte, and we both laughed and talked for hours about anything and everything! 2 days later, Josiah showed Megan around Uptown before she left for Charleston for work for a few weeks, and once she was back, we went on dates and just enjoyed each other. We are both absolute goobs, and loved that we could be ourselves around each other. On September 18th, on the bench that we ended our second date on, Josiah asked Megan to be his girlfriend. Speed up to 2020, we made it through the craziness of life in a pandemic, and grew even closer together, and leaned on each other for support throughout the pandemic. We joked about marriage, but just were waiting for the right time. Then, on April 23rd, 2021, on that same bench in Romare Bearden Park, Josiah popped on one knee, and Megan flung herself into his arms... and forgot to say yes (don't worry, she did after recovering from the shock!)

Now, on March 18th, 2022, we will join our hands in marriage and will start on the greatest journey of our lives together!!!
