Megan and Phil were introduced to each other through their mutual friends, Mik and Maggie, on September 1, 2018.

Maggie was playing the matchmaker and wanted to connect us together. She texted Megan that evening and said “ we are going to Philly tonight, you should come and I have someone I want you to meet”. Megan was hesitant and exhausted from celebrating her friend Damian’s birthday that afternoon, but agreed to go (after lots of nudging from Damian).

We hit it off that night, exchanged numbers and went on our first date two days later.

After our first date, we spent every weekend together, attending local music shows, watching new tv series, working out at our Crossfit gym and planning trips together.

Phil shared his interest of EDM (electronic dance music) with Megan and three months after meeting, he took her to her first music festival to in Philly. She was hooked!

WE had such a great time and immediately planned the next one.

Phil had always wanted to go to ULTRA MIAMI, so we planned for our next adventure in March, 2019 to Miami, Florida. We had an amazing time together.

Shortly after we returned from Miami, we introduced each other to the others family. Then on a random Saturday (April 20th), standing in Megan’s kitchen, Phil FINALLY asked her to be his girlfriend.

Obviously, she agreed.

Since then we’ve gone to over 10 music festivals and 50+ music shows!

He also introduced her to snowboarding and encouraged her to take lessons. We enjoy traveling to Vermont and Utah every year with friends to “shred through the pow pow”.

We spent a lot of time together during the pandemic, working out, cooking daily, puzzling, growing closer and decided to move in together.

At the end of 2020 we bought a home together in Wilmington.

May of 2022, Phil proposed and on April 20th, 2024 they will be married!
