Directions & Parking

To reach Abigails's Garden from I-205 North or South, take Exit 10 and veer right onto Hwy 213.At the first signal, turn right onto Prairie Schooner Way.At the signal, take a left onto Washington Street.Turn left onto 15th Street.Abigail's Garden is located on the left-hand side of 15th Street at the intersection of 15th and John Adams Street. There will be a designated parking lot labeled for Abigail's Garden.

Semi-formal Theme & Color(optional): Rustic Garden Party & any and all shades of Blue Cowboy boots are welcome!

Details

Kyle and Megan first met when their sorority and fraternity were paired together as a team for OSU's All-University Sing, a singing and dancing competition that all Greek life took part in. They were both coaches, so that meant countless long nights choreographing the routine on top of the many hours of practice each week. The coaches met almost everyday, so that meant that they had to see each other daily. All the coaches became fast friends and would often do homework together between all the choreographing. It wasn't until Kyle offered to walk Megan home at 1AM, that they began talking and getting to know each other. Not wanting the conversation to end, Kyle stayed to pet Luna for 2 more hours while they talked. They both love dogs, but it's easy to sense that there might be an underlying reason to want to pet a dog for so long in the middle of the night, although Luna didn't mind. And that was the day she fell in love... Luna that is. The next morning, a group of them got together at Shari's for "breakfast" and mimosas, so they got the chance to see each other again within a couple of hours and continue their conversation. With spring break being that week, some of the coaches met together to hang out for a couple days in Seaside, OR. This is where they got a chance to know each other outside of being coaches. They laughed and talked together the entire time and it just so happened to be that they were going to the same Blazer's game the next day. They met up there and once school started back up, they began talking and hanging out everyday. Ever since then, there hasn't been more than 30 total days that they didn't see each other in person. You know you like someone if the first thing you want to do in your freetime is go spend time with them. Their time together consisted mostly of homework, food, naps, and Criminal Minds. They realized that they were interested in the same things, had the same humor, and understood each other in ways no one else could. They saw each other so often that their wasn't a specific time they started dating. It was just a mutual realization that they hung out so much they figured they were dating. Fast forward and they got engaged, started their careers, bought a home together, adopted a cat, and got married. Yes, you read that right. They got married. There was no way an entire wedding would be planned in 6 months so they decided to have a small elopment with their immediate family and planned to have the formal ceremony and celebration with family and friends the following year. To make it less complicated and easy to remember, both ceremonies were planned to happen on the exact same date, just a year a part, August 8th. Long story short, they are now married, homeowners, and parents to two very special children, Luna, the 10 year old red service husky that Megan's family adopted 9 years ago, and Flounder, the 2 year old cat that acts like a dog, has no concept of personal space, and enjoys flopping around like a fish(that's how she got her name). In their free time they enjoy doing any activity outdoors with Luna, traveling/going on adventures, also with Luna, and trying new hobbies together, sometimes with Luna. Whenever they get the chance, they love to go to rodeos and PBRs (professional bull riders), attending around 5 rodeos each season. Occasionally they also enjoy traveling around Oregon to model usually wedding styled photoshoots(which explains all the different wedding photos). It has become another adventure date, allowing them to go new places, see new things, and have a lot of pretty photos to remember it. They are so excited to finally get to celebrate their marriage with all their friends and family! See you soon!

Megan met Kaitlyn at OSU when Kaitlyn was joining her sorority. She was also Megan's little and college roommate.

Megan met Erin at Kyle's fraternity when they were both dating members of Acacia. They relied on each other to keep their sanity in the frat.
