It all started in 2015. Two young, immature, high school kids looking for a job to get them through school. Megan and Josh both met each other at Wamesit Lanes hosting children’s birthday parties. Whether it be hosting the parties together or staying late just to make sure the other one wasn’t alone; Josh and Megan were destined to have each other in their lives. Throughout the next 5-6 years life happened and Megan went to college while Josh entered the work force. Throughout these times they never lost touch with each other. From daily snapchats, occasional texts, and the every few months Applebees meet ups. We would always check in with each other and see how the other’s significant other was or how school was going at the time. Then one year everything changed. Monthly meet ups turned into weekend dates. Occasional texts turned into every day check ins. A high school bowling alley coworker turned into a soulmate. Megan and Josh became inseparable at this point. February 2021 Josh finally bought her a bouquet of flowers and asked Megan to be his girlfriend. It was only a matter of time (2 years to be exact) that this couple would realize that it was time to get the future started. Josh proposed in Charleston, South Carolina. It may not be the most fairytale of love stories, but what once started as a young and innocent friendship trying to get through a screaming birthday party…. Turned into two soulmates ready to stand at the altar and start their forever journey.
