Rachel is a nurse who worked with Megan and Travis. She is a bad-A nurse and mountain woman. She was there for both Megan and Travis' first moose hunt. She is also a freshly-minted grandma!

Welcome to the land of the midnight sun!

- Please be respectful and do not touch any of the art pieces (there will be several amongst the seating) - Please do not bring any food or drink into the gallery for the ceremony. Food and drink are acceptable in the atrium. - No glitter, sequence (that is a gallery rule, but also a Travis rule). - No helium balloons (apparently they set off the fire sprinklers, who knew?) - Due to capacity limitations in the art gallery (as well as for the protection of the art), we are asking that small children (older than lap infants and younger than teenagers) remain outside the gallery during the ceremony. We will have many child friendly activities and a responsible sitter in the atrium to keep kids entertained for the short ceremony.

Getting to Alaska

Ted Stevens Airport is the main hub for the state. Most major airlines fly to Anchorage and the airport is very easy to navigate (compared to most major city's).

Getting around Anchorage

The airport is in Anchorage proper, but it is still advised that those visiting from out of state secure transportation. There are rental car companies based in the airport. Late June is a busy time, so if you need a large vehicle for family, we recommend booking early. There are also local cabs and ride-share services available.

Where to stay

We strongly recommend stay downtown. Please reference the below map (The Anchorage Museum is starred). There are several hotels and rentals in the downtown area and it is very walkable. Late June is nearing peak tourist season, so please book early (at least 8 months in advance, if not sooner). Listed below are links to some local hotels, but Downtown also has several chains and vacation rental options to choose from. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Where to Stay in AK!

Though it is the largest city in the state, Anchorage is relatively small and easy to get around. Downtown Anchorage is where the wedding will be held and hosts most chain hotels. There are some cute, locals hotels as well. See below for our recommendations.

A massive bird sanctuary with a lovely board walk. Sea birds, tundra swans, and a variety of ducks and geese nest here. Don't forget the bug spray!

Watch locals fish for salmon just north of downtown. Or, talk to us about booking a fishing charter. We are happy to recommend companies based on where you want to go.

Wedding Party and Family- Location: 1511 Marten Street, Anchorage, AK 99504- Time: 3:00pm- Mandatory attendance only for family and wedding party.Guests - All are welcome join for socializing after 4:00pm- kids and fur-kids welcome!- Dinner: Local Fish, moose burgers, and brats

Day of the Wedding

Wedding Party and Family- Photographs at 2:00pm- Location: TBA and weather dependent. We will arrange for rides if needed. - Set up at 5:30pm- Location: Anchorage Museum, South Entrance

Beloved guests- Please take the day to enjoy Anchorage- Anchorage museum opens at 10:00am. Attendance for all wedding guests is free.*Please wear your button in the museum to be able to stay during closing.

Wedding Party and Family- Please be at the museum at 5:30pm to assist in set up. Refreshments will be available. Guests- Attire: Formal to Cocktail- Please be at the museum at 6:00pm- Parking garage is available for guests beginning at 4:30pm- Location: South side if the building on 9th St - Drinks and Nibbles will be available at 6:00pm- Location: Atrium - Ceremony begins at 6:30pm sharp- Location: Art of the North Gallery-Remember: No drinks, food, glitter, balloons in gallery. No art fondling!

- Dinner will be served at 7:30pm. Please wait to have your table released.- Light snacks will be available through the night.- Cake, music, dancing and merriment to follow until 10:00pm.- There will be an open bar with local beer, wine, and a signature cocktail and punch.

After Party

- The Reception will conclude at 10:00pm. - Those who would like to continue celebrating are welcome to join us downtown!

Donations and Gifts

After almost 10 years together, it is clear that we have entirely too much stuff! En lieu of gifts, we are requesting donations to organizations that are dear to us. There will be QR Codes at the wedding and on this page where donations can be made. Please check back.&nbsp;

Small, homemade, or emotionally significant gifts will be graciously accepted and treasured, but are not expected.
