Our Wedding

When something is meant to be, it will be! We both grew up in Duluth Minnesota and attended East High School in the same graduating class, knowing of each other but never crossing paths outside of the hallways. It wasn't until 2016, six years later, that our story truly began. Carl had just returned from his service in the Marines, and Megann was living and attending school in the Twin Cities. It was by happenstance that we reconnected when Carl drove down from Duluth for a concert. Not long after, we found ourselves planning our first date - a stroll around Minnehaha Falls followed by lunch at the Sea Salt Eatery. Since that fateful day, we've been inseparable. Fast forward seven years, countless adventures and shared milestones later... we've built a life together that we only dreamed of early on. It's been an incredible journey that has taken us from high school acquaintances to best friends and ultimately, eternal partners. The best part is, it's only getting started!

Instead of a traditional wedding party, we'll be surrounded by those closest to us as we get ready on our big day. We look forward to celebrating with each and every one of you!

There is so much to see and do! Here are a few great options: 1. Tour the Glensheen Mansion or Great Lakes Aquarium. 2. Discover Canal Park: Stroll the Lakewalk, explore the array of shops and boutiques at the Dewitt-Seitz Marketplace, and visit the iconic Duluth Harbor North Pier Lighthouse next to the Ariel Lift Bridge. 3. Stop by one Duluth's many Breweries: Fitger's Brewhouse, Canal Park Brewing Company, Hoops Brewing, Bent Paddle, and Wild State Cider come highly recommended. 4. Take a cruise along the North Shore Scenic Drive for great views of Lake Superior. 5. Explore the numerous hiking trails, like the Superior Hiking Trail, Lester Park, Jay Cook, or Hartley Nature Center. 6. Split Rock Lighthouse: Take a day trip to Split Rock Lighthouse State Park and Gooseberry Falls. The iconic lighthouse and Lake Superior views are breathtaking, even in November! 7. Grab a bite or two:Va Bene for delicious Italian dishes with a picturesque view of the lake.Sir Benedict's Tavern on the Lake for classic English-style pub comfort food.The Pickwick, a historic staple next-door to Fitger's Inn, which is also worth your visit.
