Megann & John had their first date at Pins Mechanical on May 19th, 2022. They instantly connected over their shared love of New York (Megann - the city | John - Tony Soprano), going to Cincinnati Reds' games, and the importance of their family and friends. John tried to impress Megann with his knowledge of Game of Thrones' dragons, and they were together ever since.

Over the next two years, they would make memories traveling down to Florida to visit John's family, lots of lake weekends, Noah Kahan concerts, pickleball, and more. Their lives quickly became intertwined, and they knew they wanted to spend forever together.

In a full circle moment, Jonn and Megann traveled to New York City together, for the first time, in April 2024 on an annual friend's trip. John found the perfect location for the proposal - The Conservatory Gardens in Central Park - but did not inform the entire group of the end destination. After a beautiful 3.5 mile walk, John got on one knee, claimed "I think it's time," and asked Megann to marry him. She said yes and they had the best time celebrating with friends for the entire weekend :)

They cannot wait to get married in October 2025 and spend the rest of their lives together making more amazing memories!
