Event Details
Please reference the attached hotel layout for event locations: Harbor Terrace for the Welcome Reception, the Veranda for the Ceremony, and the Royal Ballroom for the Reception.
Parking is available via the I-Drive entrance, with the lot connecting to the main gate if you continue around to the back.
What should I wear to the Wedding?
Come ready to dance the night away with us! The wedding is semi-formal / cocktail. Examples would be a knee-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit or dress shirt and tie for men.
What should I wear to Friday's Welcome Reception
Our Welcome Reception will be dressy casual — think sundresses, jumpsuits, or skirts for women, and button-downs or polos with nice pants for men.
Is there cost for parking/where can I park?
Parking will be complimentary. When entering the gated area, please take a parking ticket. The hotel will provide a validation sticker to place on your ticket at the Welcome Reception and Wedding Reception.
Will there be an open bar?
Drinks are on us! The bar will be open during cocktail hour and throughout the reception, with a brief pause during dinner.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be outside, with a backup indoor option if needed. The cocktail hour and reception will all be indoors.
What is the weather like in Orlando in January?
It's a little unpredictable, but Orlando experiences mild weather with plenty of sunshine, averaging around 72°F high temperatures and 50°F low temperatures. Would recommend packing a jacket, just in case.
Can I bring my child/children ?
As much as we love kids, this is an adult only celebration. We adore your little ones, but this is a night to let loose without the tiny eyes watching!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know when you RSVP, and we will work with the resort on providing an accommodating meal.
Do I/We have to stay at the hotel recommended ?
If you wish to stay someplace else, that is totally fine! Please note, we are not providing any transportation for our wedding activities since everything will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld, where the room block is.
How will I RSVP?
We will provide a link to our wedding website to RSVP. If technology is not your thing, no worries at all, please get in touch with Ryan or Megg to RSVP.
