Our story



When people say, “opposites attract,” it couldn’t ring more true for Keyur and Megha. Megha is a vibrant extrovert who loves to talk, socialize, and connect with everyone around her. Keyur, on the other hand, is the complete opposite—calm, observant, and incredibly patient, qualities Megha admires and often wishes she had herself.


Megha and Keyur weren’t actively seeking a relationship at the time. Megha was focused on school, while Keyur was busy finishing college, finding a job, and growing his photography business. However, the summer of 2019 brought an unexpected and wonderful turn in both their lives. It was then that Megha met Keyur—the man who would become her best friend and the love of her life.


They met through mutual friends in Orlando, Florida. Megha was staying with a friend for the week, and her friend mentioned that one of her friends would be stopping by. When the doorbell rang, Megha got up to answer it, and there he was—the guy with the most perfect and infectious smile she had ever seen. It was a moment she would never forget. Keyur walked in, greeted everyone with a polite “hello,” and quietly took his place in the room, a stark contrast to Megha’s outgoing personality.


Shortly after they met, Megha and Keyur exchanged numbers and began texting each other like crazy—all day and all night. It quickly became clear that they were inseparable, and when they didn’t hear from each other, they’d anxiously wait for the next reply. What started as simple conversations soon became the foundation of an unbreakable connection.


As they got to know each other, Megha and Keyur discovered a shared love for Marvel. While Megha was a fan, she quickly realized Keyur’s passion for it ran even deeper than hers. Keyur also shared his love for photography, which Megha found inspiring—especially as his hobby eventually became a successful side business. On the other hand, Keyur admired how family-oriented Megha was and how much she cared for and prioritized the people closest to her. These shared interests and qualities brought them even closer, laying the groundwork for the incredible journey they would have together.

Our first date was on July 24, 2019. It was a night to remember: we saw Spider-Man: Far From Home, dined at The Cheesecake Factory, and spent the evening strolling through Disney Springs. It was there, under the enchanting lights that we talked, held hands for the first time, and unknowingly began the journey of a lifetime together.

Our first date was on July 24, 2019. It was a night to remember: we saw Spider-Man: Far From Home, dined at The Cheesecake Factory, and spent the evening strolling through Disney Springs. It was there, under the enchanting lights that we talked, held hands for the first time, and unknowingly began the journey of a lifetime together.
By August 8, 2019, we made our relationship official. Though Keyur lived in Lakeland, Florida, and Megha lived in Tampa, Florida, we embraced the challenges of a long-distance relationship. On October 4, we celebrated our first Navratri together. We share a deep love for this festival, and nothing could stop us from dancing all night long with our friends and enjoying the culture we were brought up in.

By August 8, 2019, we made our relationship official. Though Keyur lived in Lakeland, Florida, and Megha lived in Tampa, Florida, we embraced the challenges of a long-distance relationship. On October 4, we celebrated our first Navratri together. We share a deep love for this festival, and nothing could stop us from dancing all night long with our friends and enjoying the culture we were brought up in.
When COVID turned the world upside down, meeting in person became difficult. To prioritize our relationship, we made FaceTiming a part of our daily routine, often spending hours talking, laughing, and sharing our days. Virtual movie nights also became our way of staying connected, proving that love could thrive even through a screen. These moments not only kept us close but also deepened our bond during such an uncertain time. When the world finally began to open up after COVID restrictions eased, We took our first trip together on May 22, 2021. We explored Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, creating memories that would last a lifetime. The trip began with the vibrant energy of Las Vegas, where we spent our nights enjoying the dazzling lights, lively music, and unforgettable experiences on the bustling Strip. From trying our luck at the casinos to savoring amazing food, it was a whirlwind of excitement. We then ventured into the breathtaking outdoors, marveling at the stunning views and conquering hikes at Zion National Park in Utah and the striking Red Rock Canyon in Arizona. The combination of adventure, natural beauty, and city thrills made the trip an unforgettable chapter in our story.

Fast forward a few years to January 2023, when we took our first international trip to India together for a close friend’s wedding. It was a beautiful experience that brought us even closer as a couple.

Then the BIG DAY October 12, 2023—a day we will never forget. Megha had always dreamed of a proposal on a mountain with a stunning view. She even had a special dress picked out for the occasion, though she had no idea her dream was about to come true that Thursday morning. At 5:30 AM, Keyur somehow convinced Megha to wear the dress by promising he’d buy her an even better one when the time came. She reluctantly put on the dress with her tennis shoes, completely unaware of what was about to unfold. When we reached the top of the mountain, Keyur began setting up his camera gear, something he always did during our adventures. He asked Megha to stand on a specific rock so he could center the lens—a request she didn’t think twice about since she was used to being his focus point for photos. As she stood there, taking in the breathtaking view with her back turned, Megha suddenly heard footsteps behind her. Then Keyur softly said her name. When Megha turned around, she found Keyur down on one knee, holding the ring of her dreams. In that magical moment, surrounded by the mountains and with the sun rising in the background, Keyur asked Megha the question she had unknowingly been waiting for. And her answer, without hesitation, was “yes.”

Looking back on our journey, we have shared so many incredible memories, big and small. While we may be opposites in many ways, it’s our differences that make us stronger, balancing each other in the best possible way. We can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives together and are so excited to share our joy with all of you.
