We met on Hinge—proof that sometimes the right swipe really can change everything. After just a couple of weeks of talking over the app, texting, and late-night phone calls, we planned our first date: a cozy steak dinner followed by a drive to see Christmas lights. From that night on, something just felt right.

Though we came from different worlds—Meghan, a self-proclaimed city girl, and Mitchell, a born-and-raised country guy—we quickly discovered how perfectly our differences fit together. Opposites really do attract.

Over the years, our relationship has been filled with adventure and laughter. Weve traveled across the country (and beyond!) together—visiting places like Illinois, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Iowa, Minnesota, and Cancun, Mexico. Wisconsin holds a special place in our hearts, especially for Meghan—where she unexpectedly fell in love… with cows. We return there often for summer vacations and holidays. And New Mexico, Mitchell’s home state, is a frequent stop too, especially for visiting family and soaking up the desert sunsets.

In the summer, you’ll usually find us camping in the Colorado mountains, with our two favorite travel companions—our dogs, Poncho and Maddie—by our side.

Then, on December 1st, 2024, after a familiar steak dinner and surrounded by twinkling lights on our Christmas tree, Mitchell nervously got down on one knee in our living room. It was simple, heartfelt, and so perfectly us.

Now, we’re ready to begin the next chapter of our journey together—one filled with love, laughter, dogs, cows, and maybe a few more steak dinners.
