Ironically, Hayden and Meghan met on Valentine's Day in 2014, where they were both attending a friends "single party." The night was young, and the party carried over to bars in downtown Schenectady. Little did Meghan know, Hayden was struck by cupid that night and had an instant crush that would never fade.

From that day forward, Meghan and Hayden began seeing each other around. They both were living at home and attending Grad School, which more often than not, brought them right back to downtown Schenectady where they had mutual friends.

After Grad School, Meghan moved to Saratoga and Hayden moved to Albany. Parting ways forever.... so they thought. Then, on Halloween 2015, Meghan invited Hayden to Saratoga to celebrate her favorite day of the year - Meghan takes Halloween very seriously and in hindsight, that meant a lot to her. From then, their friendship started to grow.

They began hanging out on the regular, especially to watch Sunday football at the local pub. At this time Hayden still lived in Albany and would constantly drive back and forth just to spend time with Meghan. Hayden quickly realized how amazing Saratoga was and in the Spring of 2016 he made the move.

Now that Hayden and Meghan were around the corner from each other, they began to hang out almost daily and loved each other's company. Hayden's crush that had ignited two years ago was now turning into something more. Although Meghan wasn't on the same page as Hayden, and her friends all saw their relationship for the love story that it truly was, it took several months for Meghan to see what was right in front of her.

As time went by, Meghan began to realize how amazing of a guy Hayden was. Always kind, always sincere, and always making her laugh at every second (all of this is still true to this day!)

On July, 30 2016, Hayden and Meghan made their relationship official. From then on they spent their time answering the most important question.... "Where will we travel to next?"

In the summer of 2019, Hayden and Meghan took a three week Euro trip that lead them to Terrazza Dell'infinito (Infinity Terrace) in Ravello, Italy. Here is where their lives were changed forever as Hayden got down on one knee and asked Meghan to be his wife, in literally, the most beautiful place in the world.
