Our Wedding

forever & always

Our story is long &amp; winding, joyful &amp; happy, adventurous &amp; crazy...and just about everything in between. We met sometime in 8th grade (and still have arguments about whose middle school was better) and became best friends throughout high school. If you know us, you know that our friends group means the world to us so we are grateful they have been by our side throughout our entire relationship. We started dating in 2013 ("finally" per Matt) and at that point, there was no doubt where we would end up. It all started at a romantic dinner at Noodles on Oakland Ave. followed by a Phil Vassar concert. To think how far we've grown as individual people and as a couple, puts a smile on our face. In November of 2019, we packed our bags and jetted off on our second European adventure. We started in Vienna (and had a conversation that there would be no proposal...) and then made our way to Prague. The next morning after a night of old-fashioneds at a small pub (yes, we were hungover), we walked around Old Prague and up through Petrin Park. Matt pulled off the surprise by setting up a picture in front of the Prague skyline and popped the question. Decisions do not come quick or easy in our relationship but for this one, there was no hesitation! There have been easy times and there have been harder times (cough *getting two puppies at once* cough), but through it all we always end our day with "forever &amp; always".

We can't wait and are truly grateful beyond words to have you all at our big day, celebrating our love. We would be nowhere without our loving family and share in this day with them, as a thank you for all they've done for us.

We have secured a room block for any guests who would like to stay Friday (5/14) and/or Saturday (5/15) in downtown Milwaukee, at Brewhouse Inn &amp; Suites, located in the original Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery! The room block rates will only be valid until April 15th so please book as soon as possible. The Brewhouse Inn &amp; Suites is a 90-room boutique hotel housed in what was once the main brewery building. The hotel showcases the building’s original features including the 6 massive iconic copper brewing kettles and a stained-glass window featuring King Gambrinus, often called the patron saint of brewers.

We understand that the current state of the pandemic is constantly changing and is always uncertain, but we want to do our best to keep our guests informed of the impact on our wedding. We continue to work closely with our venue and vendors to ensure the safety of our guests.

Whether you're from near or far, we promise you'll enjoy the time you spend in Milwaukee before and after the wedding. We highly recommend walking up / down the Riverwalk and soak in what this city we love has to offer. We know you know Milwaukee can drink but don't underestimate the food scene here as well! Below are a few suggestions based on some of our favorite things to do...enjoy!

Take a tour of one of the best breweries in Milwaukee! Highly recommend their OGii beer.

One of the newest areas in downtown Milwaukee, built around Matt's number one team (the future is young) - the Milwaukee Bucks.

Deer District

You guessed it - another brewery to check out! Fun fact: the first time we toured this brewery was together for Meghan's 21st birthday (we were not dating at the time). We went back a few years later with our families and were overserved....

Lakefront Brewery

If the Brewers aren't playing, take a walk around this beautiful stadium! We typically don't make it in the stadium before the 4th or 5th inning so let us know if you go and we may join you.

Miller Park

A hidden gem in between downtown and The Third Ward in Milwaukee. Shout out to West Allis Cheese Shop on the south side of the market (college roommate, teammate and forever friend's family owns it)!
