Chad and I matched on Bumble while I was at a hockey game with my dad (the Blues lost).

I spent our entire first date thinking he didn't like me. I was nervous and did/said a lot of less than intelligent things. I forgot. my. keys. in. my. car. and had to leave him in the middle of PetSmart to go get them. And then I told him Laumeier Sculpture Park should consider putting sticks in the woods. I meant stepping stones. Luckily for me, Chad found me charming. When I got home, I immediately texted my best friends to let them know I hadn't been murdered and that I had met the man I would marry.

Chad kissed me for the first time on our fourth date. We had accidentally crashed a wedding and were taking shelter from a tornado in the giftshop of a golf course.

Two months after we met, I was struggling not to tell him I loved him. I wanted to say it sooo badly. He felt the same. How do I know? After driving me back to my parent's house after a date to Grant's Farm, he shouted it at me. We were sitting right next to each other in the front seat of his car. My ears were ringing, but I had never been happier.

We've continued to stumble through life, making memories and sharing laughter along the way. I can't wait to see what all the future holds for us.
