Meg and Chris were friends in high school and graduated together in 2004. Meg went off to LeMoyne College, but would see Chris when she came home on school breaks. They remained friends throughout college and after graduating from LeMoyne Meg moved back to Cortland for Grad school. Around Halloween, Chris threw a costume party and Meg dressed as a New York Jets football player. Chris let Meg into the keg party for free because he is a HUGE Jets fan and was completely smitten by her extremely cute costume! She even wore the eye black! ;) Meg and Chris started hanging out regularly after the party and eventually started dating. A love story that began over free beer and a common interest in football has developed into something so much more over the last several years. On October 10th, 2015 Chris and Meg's sister, Nadia, planned a surprise 30th birthday party for Meg. Meg asked Chris for free weights for her birthday, but was pleasantly surprised when he got down on one knee, in front of all their family and friends, and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him!
