Meghan and Matt met through mutual friends at a lunch at Graffiti Junktion in Thornton Park. The joke today is that neither of them initially wanted to be there - Meghan thought she and her friend Kourtney would be doing something different for lunch, and Matt didn’t feel like going anywhere when his friend Mitch dragged him out of the house. However, it wasn’t a set-up. It happened to be the day of the Florida Gators “Orange and Blue” spring practice football game. Meghan asked the server if by chance the game could be turned on one of the TVs. Hearing that, they started talking about attending UF and the Gators. They spent the rest of the day and the next 2 years together. We are lucky enough to have a picture from that very day and place!
