Take the Amtrak train!
Amtrak has direct train routes from Chicago to Champaign. The Champaign-Urbana Amtrak station is centrally located in downtown champaign. The train station is 0.8 miles from the venue, and 0.3 from the Hyatt hotel block. The train station is 1.2 miles from the Holiday Inn hotel block.
How to take the Amtrak:
1. Purchase train ticket online from CHI to CHM
2. When you arrive at union station, find the platform your train will be departing from.
3. There is no security check in, so find a seat and chill for a minute.
4. When its time, find your platform, wait in line, and board the train. The conductor will scan your ticket on the train.
