Accommodation

We have compiled a list of the main accommodation options in the surrounding area.

September can be a busy time in this part of Donegal and we strongly recommend booking accommodation now.

All of the hotels require card information to hold bookings. However, they do not take payment until check-in.

We appreciate that you might not know yet if you are able to attend (Just a heads up- we are planning on doing RSVPS shortly). However, we'd recommend reserving your accommodation anyway until you know as you can always release it down the line if needed with no cost.

An Chúirt Hotel Gweedore

Meenderrygamph, Gweedore, Co. Donegal, F92 AP60, Ireland
(074) 953 2900

Unfortunately there is no availability at An Chúirt on the Friday and Saturday of the wedding.

There may be some rooms available on Thursday night for those interested but this means you will have to check out at 11 am (the wedding starts at 13:30) and move to your new accommodation after the wedding unless you can arrange an early check-in at your new spot.

Room rates on Thursday night start at €119 and go up to €149 for a room with a view.

Óstan Loch Altan

Gortahork, Co. Donegal, F92 Y242, Ireland
(074) 913 5267

This hotel is in Gortahork and is about halfway (15 minute drive) from the wedding venue (An Chúirt) and The Corcreggan Mill (Day 2 venue). It is a basic and very good value hotel. They charge €70 per person per night. If you are a solo traveler you would get a double room for €70 per night, €140 if you are a couple sharing

We will be organising a private coach to pick up guests from The Loch Altan before the wedding and drop them home afterward. We will do the same for our day two party so if you stay here you don't need to worry about getting taxis. The price per person will be around €12 each way. We will be in touch closer to the time to coordinate this.

Local taxis will also be running on Friday and Saturday nights if you wish to make your own way to and from the venues.

If you want to book a room, please call the hotel. They might have some rooms available under Conor Cusack so it is worth asking them if there are any left and you will need to give them your credit card to secure the booking.

There are currently a number of AirBnB's available in the surrounding areas. Depending on where the available houses are, they should be accessible by taxi.
