Josiah and I both grew up in Cincinnati. We went to the same camp, had mutual friends, but never met in childhood.

While I was on leave in Cincinnati, I met Josiah at a Christmas Party and started a natural friendship. We bonded over hanging around the snack table and talking about the Bengals (Who Dey!). One night, many months later, no other friends were free to hang out and I went to Josiah’s home and ended up playing Connect4 and Battleship. From this point on Josiah pursued me and a couple months later I accepted a date. From then on out, it was love, laughter, fun, a lot of ice cream, and a relationship where we both have been able to be our true, goofy, selves.

Josiah surprised me with a proposal on New Years 2024 and here we are, excited to welcome you to celebrate alongside us at our wedding!

Oh what a small world it is! Our wonderful love story all starts with good friends. I was lucky enough to have introduced my best friend to an old high school friend of mine, that as it would happen, wound up in a loving marriage! They say it's risky to mix friend groups but boy did this pay massive dividends. Fast forward almost a decade and that lovely couple hosts a holiday party. As I stand there watching a football game, in walks the most stunning woman my eyes have ever been blessed to look upon. I stared. I lost time. I forgot my surroundings. My world was rocked. Sadly I quickly found out she was not available and so I never shared my interest to her. Instead we just grew as good friends for two years. In that time she moved back to cincy, spent more and more time with our friend group, became single, and eventually I finally realized that instead of constantly comparing people to her like a measurement, I needed to just go for it and see if she had any interest! She wasn't ready for a relationship at first but God made me a resilient man and I was persistent. With time He brought us together into the most kind, loving, faith-filled relationship I could have ever dreamed of finding. Meghan has flipped my life upside down and loved me and the girls in a way beyond words. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her, growing and raising our wonderful family.
