Is there a NEW deadline for the RSVP for the reception in Mooresville?
Due to the change of plans, we kindly ask that you RSVP by October 10th, 2024, so we can provide a finalized guest count to our vendors. We understand that the change in location may impact attendance, and we appreciate your prompt response. What is the schedule for the evening?
The reception will begin at 5pm with a welcome cocktail and appetizers time block, followed by introductions, speeches, dinner and dancing until 9pm. Please join us for a night of celebration!
Are there any accommodations nearby for out-of-town guests?
Yes, there are several nearby options for people to stay in the area, including the Aloft Mooresville, Tru by Hilton, and SpringHill Suites in the LangTree area. These hotels are roughly 10-15 minutes from the venue and close to shops, restaurants, and breweries. Please note that due to the quick turnaround, we do not have a reserved room block.
IS THERE ANYTHING SCHEDULED AFTER THE RECEPTION?
We do not have any finalized plans, but we might go to a few bars in the Mooresville downtown area.
What is the dress code for the reception?
We request that guests wear semi-formal or dressy casual attire. We look forward to seeing everyone dressed up!
Are children welcome at the event?
Yes, children are welcome to join the celebration. Please note that we will not be providing childcare services during the event.
Will there be food and drink provided?
Absolutely! We will be serving a variety of appetizers, a full dinner, and dessert. Drinks will include mixed drinks, wine, beer, cider, and soda.
What should we do if we have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance by contacting Meghan. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Is there a specific theme or color scheme for the reception?
Our reception will feature a vintage and boho theme. Our colors are rust, navy and sage. Feel free to incorporate this theme into your attire if you wish!
Will there be any special activities or performances during the reception?
Yes, we have planned some special activities that reflect our personalities and interests. Stay tuned for a fun-filled evening!
How can we share photos from the event?
We would love to see your photos! Please share them on social media using our wedding hashtag #waitingTAALmylife. Additionally, you can add your photos to a shared album via a dedicated app. A QR code for the app will be available for everyone to scan upon arrival at the reception, making it easy to upload and share your memories directly with us and all the guests.
How many guests can I bring to the reception, and can I bring my children?
You are welcome to bring a plus one to the reception. Children are also allowed and do not count as your plus one. However, please make sure to mention your children in the RSVP so we can ensure there are suitable kid-friendly options available for them.
Will there be any transportation available?
While we don’t have dedicated transportation, there are Ubers available in the area for guests staying nearby. Most hotels recommended on our site are a short drive from the venue, making it convenient for those using rideshare services.
What happens if it rains?
Our venue includes both indoor and covered outdoor spaces, so rain won’t stop the celebration! In case of inclement weather, we’ll make adjustments to ensure everyone stays comfortable and dry.
