Escondido is in the heart of northern San Diego, settled in a valley of coastal mountains and surrounded by avocado and citrus groves. It is home to wineries, a historic downtown, and the Safari Park just down the road from Rancho Guejito Vineyard. Escondido is 40 minutes from the San Diego International Airport and 20 minutes from the coast.
