Landen and I have a long family history. Landen's Mom, Cheryl and her brothers grew up with my Dad and his siblings in Lundbreck, AB. His Uncle, Allan Douglas, guided for my parents and was at my parents wedding in the Northwest Territories.

Landen and I first officially met while bighorn hunting at Cadomin, Alberta. 4 years later, we met by chance, again hunting. We both had our trusty hunting guides with us again. Me with my Dad and Landen with his Uncle, Al Douglas. I thought it was meant to be and I took a chance and texted Landen. We officialy started dating on the opening day of sheep season in southern Alberta and after two years of dating we are engaged!
