Max and Meghan met on February 5th 2018 when Meghan had her first day of work at Triple Crown. Within a week, she overheard Max talking about going to a party with a girl for Valentines Day and she found herself immediately jealous- a crush was born.


Over the next month, Meghan texted her girl group message Squadddd all about her new work crush. Meghan couldn’t stop staring at Max during meetings and she loved his calm, cool, and collected demeanor. Max was much more mature than the guys Meghan had dealt with in the past. They had a lot in common too and by the end of March, Meghan was obsessed. It was then that she decided to be brave and flirt with Max at a company happy hour event toward the end of March. She didn’t know it then, but that was one of the best decisions she ever made. Max quickly got the hint as Meghan was anything but subtle and the two began communicating on social media before Max asked for Meghan’s number. He texted her that he wanted to take her on a date before his trip to Vegas at the end of April.


On April 24th 2018, they had their first date at the Vig in Scottsdale. Max picked Meghan up at her apartment in his big red truck and they were off. Meghan was so nervous, she tried to make a joke about how her shirt matched his truck. She had never been so shy and lost for words. Luckily, by the time they had their first round of drinks, the conversation was flowing. They must have been talking for 3+ hours. The date went amazing!


After Max dropped Meghan off at her apartment, they hugged goodbye. Before Meghan made it up to her apartment, she called her best friend Taylor. Meghan gushed about how great the date was and how she was kicking herself for not kissing him. After some encouragement from Taylor, Meghan decided to reach out to Max. When she checked her phone he had already texted that he had a great time and called her sweetie. Meghan excitedly texted back asking him to come over to her apartment. To Meghan’s surprise, Max jumped back into his truck and drove back to her place. The two watched TV and talked all night. At one point, Max was cuddling and holding on to Meghan so so tight. She knew this was the moment. Meghan leaned over and they shared their first kiss.
