Our Wedding

Meghann and I met in the midst of Covid in August 2020. Since most restaurants were closed, I asked her to meet me at a City Park for a round of frisbee golf. I brought the discs and Meghann brought the stealth cannister of mace. We both kind of sucked at the game that afternoon, so we managed to find a place to eat and talk. We both realized the company and conversation was pointing to the potential of something neither of us expected from the start. Soon we were having weekly hikes at Radnor Lake, which was close enough for Meghann to pick up Cora and Mary Ellen after their school day. These were the glory days of Covid, where I would bomb around Nashville like it was Montana before speed limits, while Meghann sat next to me with a knowing look on her face saying Just wait... Our first big trip was to Sevierville for Meghanns 40th birthday, where we rented a cabin, hiked, played scrabble (Meghann won) and burned wood, both in the fireplace and for artistic pleasure. It was after this trip that I realized I inadvertently made my mom ecstatic by falling in love with a catholic woman who also just so happened to be the healthiest person Ive ever had a relationship with. A few months later we returned to the area with Cora and Mary Ellen, Moe, LilB, and Bentley for another cabin trip to Gatlinburg and DollyWood. We all had a blast! The girls figured out how to get rid of mildew smell in a basement using beauty products and candles. Dollywood was amazing! Just make sure youre not wearing a Tupac shirt showing a middle finger. On our way out, we saw multiple black bears, which everyone was excited to see from inside the car. During my time in Nashville I was able to meet Meghanns family for holidays and gatherings, getting to know the love and support that she is surrounded by on a regular basis. In 2022 I left Nashville for a job in Boulder. CO to progress my career. This was the hard part, however we made the decision to visit each other as often as we could. Although far from easy or comfortable, this phase of our relationship helped us grow quickly in ways that may have taken much longer. We traveled almost every time we were together. Seeing glaciers, hot springs, mountain passes with only a white line for safety, waterfalls...dragging each other through 6 separate states. Meghann met my family at my sister Lindsays 40th Birthday in Kalispell, MT and the rest of them at my Nieces wedding in Cheyenne, WY, where we managed to get both Meghann and Mary Ellen dressed in western wear and up on horses! In November of 2022, I realized I wanted to be with Meghann not only in a relationship, but in a lifelong partnership. I made plans to get an engagement ring and propose to her when I visited for Christmas. After 9 days of delays by Southwest, I finally made it to Nashville and very nervously proposed. She said YES! Meghann needed help not just for the wedding preparations, but true support in everyday things. I found an even better job in Nashville and moved back in August 2023 to be the support I want to be. Since then we have been adjusting to the new dynamics of family life. As any parent knows, that is a daily dart game. We love each other and look forward to each and every new chapter of our story. One that we are honored to have you all be a part of....

Visit Historic Downtown Franklin, TN

Honky Tonks, chaos and noise. Loads of fun for the touristy Nashville scene and people watching. From catching aspiring musicians to shaking your ass on a downtown tour bus, you might not have enough time to figure out what you just missed. Hopefully that one thing is getting hit by a colostomy bag at Kid Rock’s place.
