Dylan asked Mekenzee to be his girlfriend on July 11th, 2022 after seeing the movie Top Gun 2. Their second date as an official couple was to Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, since they both love the ocean.

After a couple of months of dating, Dylan got out of the military and headed back home to Naples, Florida. Mekenzee was finishing up school in North Carolina, so the couple did a year's worth of long distance.

Dylan and Mekenzee would travel to North Carolina or Florida whenever they had the chance, especially on holidays. This picture was taken on their 2nd Thanksgiving Holiday together.

What Mekenzee thought was supposed the be her Senior photos for college. Dylan proposed to her they day after Thanksgiving.
