Melanie

Melanie is from Cottage Grove, MN. She is a huge Minnesota Wild fan and loves baking, reading, and going for bicycle rides. Her training to become a pediatrician took her across the country until she finally moved to Michigan in 2020.

Steven

Steven is from Oxford, MI. He enjoys hanging out with friends, golf, and playing soccer weekly. He has been in the HVAC business for around 10 years & currently works for his father's company, Royal Oak Heating and Cooling.

First Date

In the midst of a global pandemic, Steven and Melanie decided to join the dating app Bumble. Dating during these times was difficult but finally, in December 2020, they met for the first time in person at Augie's bar & grill. Upon meeting, they hit it off immediately and have enjoyed many fun adventures together since then.

The Proposal

On August 30, 2022, Steven planned a very special way to propose while they were visiting in Minnesota. As a child, Melanie's family camped up north and would visit the beautiful Gooseberry Falls. Steven had never seen these falls before and so Melanie, Steven, her parents, and sister took a drive up north to see them. Upon arriving, they were taking in the beautiful falls and that's when Steven got down on 1 knee to propose and Melanie said YES! The rest of the day was filled with non-stop smiles and many, many pictures.

Wedding Day

Melanie and Steven are very excited for all of their friends and family to come celebrate their wedding on May 18, 2024!!!
