Our Wedding

Mel and Matt (M&amp;M) met in the first class of their freshman year at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). Mel denies knowing Matt but Matt recalls Mel as she had ice packs on her knees as she hurried from swim practice to their night class. The next semester, they were in a class and group project together. M&amp;M would say hello to one another around campus between the end of freshman year until junior year. Then, things took a turn on February 29th, 2020, when the TCNJ Men's Basketball Team won the first conference championship in 20+ years. Mel reached out to Matt, who was a Team Manager for the champions, and wished him a congratulations. Fast forward to May 2021, M&amp;M graduated from TCNJ. They rekindled post-graduation which kicked off a summer of memories. Matt met Mel's family Fourth of July weekend, met one of her two best friends, and the romance was in full gear. Matt accepted his first job in the Washington, DC area and was trekking down I-95 to start in August 2021. M&amp;M decided they were going to try long distance. M&amp;M did just that and made the important next step during the summer of 2024 by moving in together. Since doing so, M&amp;M have enjoyed post dinner walks, supporting one another as they balance demanding jobs, playing pickle ball, dabbling into tennis, pancake Saturdays, and Matt pestering Mel to join him in the Jersey Shore water. Matt has lost many of those battles but he looks forward to getting her into the ocean in the years to come.

Call the reservations team at 732-530-8200 to reserve a room and mention the Arnold and Fosko wedding on June 12, 2026. The block closes on May 12, 2026 so we recommend booking early as rooms may fill up quickly.
