If you are planning to make it a long weekend, there are plenty of things to do around the area. Especially if you go a little farther north into Michigan, there are a good number of wineries around the New Buffalo area. Also, it’s apple season so look up all the orchards in the area for some good apple pickin’! Indiana and Michigan have a lot of orchards.
