We can't wait to celebrate with you! Please RSVP by February 1st, 2026
A passport is required for entry into and out of Mexico.
For Our Out Of State Guests
The easiest way to reach Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) is to fly into Phoenix (PHX) or Tucson (TUS). From there, it's a beautiful 3½ to 5-hour drive, depending on traffic and border crossings.
Transportation options include:
Shuttle: Shared shuttle services depart from PHX or TUS and bring you directly to Rocky Point—with a journey time around 5 to 6 hours, depending on stops, traffic, and border procedures. Information to follow.
Rental Car: If you’d like the flexibility of driving yourself, renting a car is an option—but cross-border travel is not automatically allowed.
• Many major rental agencies (e.g. Enterprise, Hertz, Budget, Avis) restrict travel into Mexico unless you arrange prior authorization, often only at select locations near the U.S.–Mexico border.
• You must also purchase Mexican auto liability insurance, as U.S. coverage is not valid in Mexico.
• We use www.bestmex.com select Sonora only.
Call your rental company ahead of booking to confirm whether they allow cross‑border travel, what documentation or permissions are required, and whether Mexican liability insurance is available for purchase.
