Melanie and Thomas met when they were set up on a blind date in February of 2019. What was supposed to be just bowling quickly turned into bowling, dinner, and drinks. They officially became a couple in April of 2019.




After a year of traveling over an hour (both ways) to see each other on the weekends (and their weekly Wednesday date night), they moved in together in Gaithersburg, MD. While living in Gaithersburg they traveled together across the US, including Florida (to visit Melanies favorite place on Earth - Universal Studios), Atlanta, New York, Las Vegas, and California. They recently moved to Bowie, MD and have enjoyed being able to explore DC and Annapolis.




When not traveling, Thomas and Melanie enjoy cooking together, playing video games, and listening to Taylor Swift. They also enjoy trying out new restaurants and spending time with their families and friends.




Thomas popped the question on Melanies 26th birthday overlooking the Pacific Ocean during a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii. It was the easiest YES Melanie has ever said.
