What is the dress code?
The dress code is black tie optional! We suggest that men wear a tuxedo or suit, and women wear a long cocktail dress or evening gown.
What is an Eastern Orthodox wedding ceremony like?
An Orthodox wedding is a bit different from what you might expect. As marriage is one of the seven sacraments in the Orthodox Church, the service is full of symbolism. It has two parts: The Betrothal (exchanging of rings) and The Crowning (exchanging of wedding crowns, the Common Cup, and the Dance of Isaiah). More information about what to expect can be found here: https://www.goarch.org/-/crown-them-with-glory-and-honor-marriage-in-the-orthodox-church. Booklets will be provided at the ceremony!
Will there be a dinner provided?
There will be cocktails, dinner, and (of course) dancing following the ceremony!
Is there parking available at the wedding?
Yes! There are parking lots attached to both the ceremony and the reception sites.
