How do I RSVP and what is the deadline?

Please RSVP by March 1 here: https://www.theknot.com/us/melany-cox-and-joshua-yokum-apr-2024/rsvp. Please respond even if you are not able to attend.

I'm traveling to Lubbock... what do I need to know?

We have hotel rooms blocked off at the Residence Inn and Holiday Inn. Links to make reservations can be found under the "Travel" tab. We also have a list of our favorite restaurants featured under the "Things To Do" tab, along with information about a couple of local attractions we've enjoyed together.

What is the best way to get from the ceremony to the reception?

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors! We will have yard games set up at the reception venue for guests to enjoy (weather permitting) and the reception venue also features a large covered patio.

What is the dress code?

Dressy Casual or Sunday Best... whatever you call it, just make sure to bring your dancing shoes!

What type of food will be served?

Following the ceremony at the church, guests can head to the reception venue for cocktail hour, immediately followed by a sit-down dinner.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at: 11610 Evanston Ave. Lubbock, TX 79424 A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

#SayingYesToYokum. We encourage everyone to use our hashtag when posting anything related to our big day so we can enjoy the memories!

Can I take photos at your wedding?

We are opting for an unplugged ceremony so that our professional wedding photographer can get the best possible shots without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens. However, we would like to encourage our guests to take as many photos as possible during the reception! If you post them, please use our wedding hashtag #SayingYesToYokum so we can find them later and see what a wonderful time everyone had!
