Melany and Adam met In January 2019, in New York, on an app that absolutely no one uses (Coffee Meets Bagel). They instantly had a great connection. However, things initially ended due to Melanys 1st year PhD program stress and homesickness following her NY move. While sad, things ended amicably.

Fast forward 1.5 years, Melany decided to stay in New York to finish her degree. Things were looking up in school, and she made a great group of friends. New Year’s day of 2021, she was tempted to text Adam after not speaking for over a year, thinking that if time were right the first time, they would have been great together. Funny enough, as she grabbed her phone to do so, she sees a text from Adam asking how she was doing; it turns out that Adam couldn't stop thinking about her either. They met up for coffee a week later to catch up. The rest is history!

In the past 3 years we experienced new friendships, graduations, career changes, a move to Florida, our first dog, and much more. We are excited for the next chapter of our lives!
