Our Wedding

Our story began in 2011 at the Wesley Foundation at the University of North Alabama, where we quickly became friends and shared countless unforgettable moments with our circle of friends. Life eventually led us in different directions, and a few years later, we each moved away. Fast forward to 2021 - we were both invited to a mutual friend’s wedding. There, we reconnected and discovered something unexpected: we were both heading to the Memphis area after the wedding, as our families had relocated there. From then on, whenever Meleah visited town, we made it a point to spend time together. In 2023, health circumstances brought Meleah back to Memphis to live with her family, which meant we began seeing each other much more often. Over time, our friendship began to grow into something deeper. By February 14, 2024 -- - Valentine’s Day - we decided to make it official and start dating. Just five months later, on July 20, 2024, we got engaged and began excitedly planning the rest of our lives together.

I met Nicki at my first college program at Walt Disney World in 2014. We became pretty close during program but lost touch as life just got crazy. Then she became pregnant with her first born Amelia and during that time had reached back out to me. I ended up visiting North Carolina for her baby shower and we have been inseparable ever since.

Bob is Bryan's brother. He enjoys singing for the church and plays guitar occasionally.  He is a wonderful father to his two kids and is married to Brittany Becklean.

Kaleb is Bryan's best friend and very quickly became mine as well. He works hard for his little and has played a very important role in supporting our engagement from the start.

Of all the places we could have met Kayla and I met at the UNA Wesley Foundation. Later we found out that our mothers actually worked for the same company. We also found out that we were probably at the same company work party in separate corners reading a book. In the end the Wesley Foundation was what brought us together.  A couple of years ago I got to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and now she gets to be a bridesmaid in mine. Such serendipity.

We all met at the Wesley Foundation at UNA. The funny thing is Tori and I were not super close until after college. We kept in touch after college and our friendship grew. I went to see her from Florida in St Louis and she came to see me. We talk in between visits all the time. I also got to know Josh a bit more during those visits and we found out we were cousins through marriage! So naturally we agreed that we were basically family.

We all met at the Wesley Foundation at UNA. Later we realized we were actually related by marriage through our aunt Mechelle.

Breana and I met in Animal Kingdom for the first time. Funny story is we actually worked in the same department (Parade audience control) around the same time but did not realize it until a couple of years later. Just another serendipity sort of friendship. We were also roommates in Florida and I miss living with this girl so much!

We all met at the UNA Wesley Foundation. Bryan and Mark were usually found there together most of the time. We would take some late night trips as a group to Steak n Shake when none of us felt like going home just yet.

We all met at the Wesley Foundation. Kara and I spent most of our college days together doing school work or painting in our free time. I could always count on her if I wanted someone to hang out with!  TC and Flounder would frequently throw some movie nights together for us as well. There was always something going on for us to do. Today she is currently working as a Special Education Teacher.

We all met at the UNA Wesley Foundation. I remember when TC and Flounder would frequently throw together movie nights for a few of us. It was always a good time.

He is currently working as a Systems Administrator.

I met MontanaJo aka MoJo at Walt Disney world through Breana Hughes.  They both worked together and became friends through work. Breana was looking to move out and I was also looking to move out so we ended up agreeing to be roommates along with Montanajo. Both of these girls were amazing housemates and I could not have asked for a better last three years in Florida.

Bryan met Cody the first few years of college at UNA. They became fast friends and lived together in an apartment for a short time. Although Cody moved to Texas with his wife a few years later, and Bryan and Cody do not see each other as often it is like no time has passed when they talk of getting together.

Caitlin is my beautiful sister-n-love who has to put up with my big little brother. Love them both so much and they are the perfect fit for each other.

Dustin is Meleah's brother. So many years of memories growing up together is a special bond that cannot be replaced.  He is a hard worker and a determined person that I strongly admire. So much life was thrown at us and he has managed to overcome and be very successful at his career. He is busy living life with his beautiful wife Caitlin and working hard to make a wonderful life for them.

Bryan met Mark during their time at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark became a good friend in both life and Ministry. He was great support especially in Bryan’s last year at mid America, when Bryan was president of Student Council.

Our friendship started at the UNA Wesley Foundation. I honestly don't remember exactly how we met but he has been there for me ever since.

We all met at the UNA Wesley Foundation. Funny story that we also became much closer after college. I am not sure what exactly reconnected us but I am so happy it did. Molly can instantly tell when you are not yourself and we all need friend like that in our lives.

Brittany Becklean is Bob's lovely wife who has agreed to help keep things rolling for our special day.  So I thought she deserved a spot on here as well. Thank you so much for helping out on our big day!

We all met at the Una Wesely foundation, 12 years ago. Seth has always been a good friend that most consistently keeps in touch with us and our lives. Personally he has kept me, the bride, company on many of my road trips back to bama from Florida.

We all met 12 years ago at UNA Wesely foundation. He is always game to meet up with us when we come to town. We most always are able to work something out and it feels like college days every time we get together. The first memory that Bryan remembers of Austin is from the first meeting. Bryan and Mark included him in a steak n shake adventure and they gained a friendship that is still there.

If you feel up to venturing to the city of Memphis during your stay this is a free Art exhibit that we have personally enjoyed. Worth the visit if you come in town early and have some free time.

This is a place flounder and I visit often because it is one of the first things we did where we knew there was something more. It has some very unique boutique shops in the area to shop around in and explore.

Definitely stop by if you are in the mood for a coffee before the wedding! They also have some awesome smoothies and refreshers and some very tasty breakfast sandwiches.Closed Sunday/Monday.Tuesday-Friday 6am to 1pm.They are opened Saturdays 8am-3pm.Plus you can go see my sticker designs in the shopping Boutique called side door market.
