Our Wedding

Your&nbsp;probably&nbsp;wondering&nbsp;how&nbsp;did&nbsp;we&nbsp;get&nbsp;here?&nbsp;Well&nbsp;our&nbsp;story&nbsp;don't&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;hallmark&nbsp;beginning,&nbsp;&nbsp;actually&nbsp;we&nbsp;met&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;over&nbsp;a&nbsp;Christian&nbsp;single&nbsp;group&nbsp;over&nbsp;Facebook.&nbsp;Most&nbsp;people&nbsp;are&nbsp;embarrassed&nbsp;to&nbsp;tell&nbsp;people&nbsp;that&nbsp;but&nbsp;we're&nbsp;living&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;era&nbsp;of&nbsp;social&nbsp;media&nbsp;and&nbsp;some&nbsp;end&nbsp;of&nbsp;COVID.&nbsp;Anyway,&nbsp;I&nbsp;(Melia)&nbsp;saw&nbsp;Eddie's&nbsp;picture&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;comment&nbsp;under&nbsp;it&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;it&nbsp;started&nbsp;from&nbsp;there.&nbsp;Since&nbsp;that&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;we&nbsp;have&nbsp;never&nbsp;stopped&nbsp;communicating,&nbsp;either&nbsp;by&nbsp;text&nbsp;or&nbsp;&nbsp;phone.&nbsp;The&nbsp;sad&nbsp;part&nbsp;was&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;Seattle,WA&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;Buffalo,NY.&nbsp;A&nbsp;friendship&nbsp;blossomed&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;soon&nbsp;realized&nbsp;a&nbsp;3&nbsp;hour&nbsp;time&nbsp;difference&nbsp;between&nbsp;us&nbsp;was&nbsp;not&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;stop&nbsp;us&nbsp;from&nbsp;saying&nbsp;"Good&nbsp;morning&nbsp;Beautiful"&nbsp;or&nbsp;"Good&nbsp;night&nbsp;handsome"&nbsp;every&nbsp;night&nbsp;or&nbsp;every&nbsp;morning&nbsp;even&nbsp;if&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;delayed&nbsp;we&nbsp;waited&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;response.&nbsp;&nbsp; We&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;in&nbsp;Seattle,&nbsp;Eddie&nbsp;must&nbsp;of&nbsp;thought&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;something&nbsp;special&nbsp;because&nbsp;he&nbsp;took&nbsp;two&nbsp;flights&nbsp;✈️&nbsp;&nbsp;8&nbsp;hours&nbsp;total&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;me.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;nervous&nbsp;and&nbsp;giggling.&nbsp;After&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;visited&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;back&nbsp;and&nbsp;forth&nbsp;from&nbsp;buffalo&nbsp;to&nbsp;seattle,&nbsp;from&nbsp;seattle&nbsp;to&nbsp;buffalo&nbsp;we&nbsp;made&nbsp;the&nbsp;effort&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;it&nbsp;work,&nbsp;until&nbsp;I&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;change&nbsp;my&nbsp;life&nbsp;and&nbsp;Move&nbsp;to&nbsp;buffalo..&nbsp;Eddie&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;school&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;life&nbsp;and&nbsp;In&nbsp;september&nbsp;of&nbsp;2020,&nbsp;I&nbsp;made&nbsp;Buffalo&nbsp;NY&nbsp;my&nbsp;new&nbsp;home.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thing's&nbsp;&nbsp;got&nbsp;stranger&nbsp;for&nbsp;us,&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;adapting&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;other..&nbsp;Living&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;house&nbsp;felt&nbsp;like&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;living&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;roommate&nbsp;at&nbsp;first.&nbsp;Being&nbsp;hospitalized,&nbsp;me&nbsp;not&nbsp;working&nbsp;the&nbsp;right&nbsp;job,&nbsp;him&nbsp;not&nbsp;seeing&nbsp;me&nbsp;most&nbsp;nights&nbsp;because&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;always&nbsp;working&nbsp;and&nbsp;being&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;buses&nbsp;schedule&nbsp;made&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;hard.&nbsp;We&nbsp;had&nbsp;many&nbsp;conversations&nbsp;at&nbsp;night&nbsp;and&nbsp;sometimes&nbsp;we&nbsp;fell&nbsp;asleep&nbsp;talking&nbsp;lol.&nbsp;Ask&nbsp;Eddie&nbsp;what&nbsp;he&nbsp;likes&nbsp;about&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;will&nbsp;say&nbsp;"She's&nbsp;smart,&nbsp;funny,&nbsp;&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;and&nbsp;understanding".&nbsp;Ask&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;will&nbsp;say&nbsp;"He's&nbsp;sweet&nbsp;a&nbsp;hard&nbsp;worker,&nbsp;hard&nbsp;headed&nbsp;and&nbsp;strong&nbsp;where&nbsp;Im&nbsp;weak" When&nbsp;Eddie&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;school&nbsp;things&nbsp;got&nbsp;harder,&nbsp;We&nbsp;would&nbsp;stay&nbsp;up&nbsp;long&nbsp;nights&nbsp;to&nbsp;finish&nbsp;an&nbsp;assignment.&nbsp;We&nbsp;used&nbsp;flash&nbsp;cards&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;encouraged&nbsp;him&nbsp;by&nbsp;leaving&nbsp;sticky's&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;wall.&nbsp;We&nbsp;made&nbsp;sure&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;time&nbsp;out&nbsp;and&nbsp;go&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;date&nbsp;once&nbsp;a&nbsp;month&nbsp;or&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;little&nbsp;holidays&nbsp;like&nbsp;valentines&nbsp;day&nbsp;and&nbsp;sweeties&nbsp;day&nbsp;(Which&nbsp;i&nbsp;knew&nbsp;nothing&nbsp;about&nbsp;till&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;Eddie).After&nbsp;I&nbsp;lost&nbsp;my&nbsp;brother,James&nbsp;Jackson,&nbsp;it&nbsp;seemed&nbsp;like&nbsp;my&nbsp;world&nbsp;was&nbsp;flipped&nbsp;upside&nbsp;down.&nbsp;Eddie&nbsp;was&nbsp;my&nbsp;pillow&nbsp;at&nbsp;night&nbsp;so&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;cried&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;always&nbsp;there.&nbsp;Things&nbsp;between&nbsp;us&nbsp;seemed&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;better..I&nbsp;finally&nbsp;got&nbsp;the&nbsp;job&nbsp;I&nbsp;wanted,&nbsp;Eddie&nbsp;Graduated&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;B.S&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;Fashion&nbsp;Textile&nbsp;and&nbsp;Merchandise.&nbsp; On&nbsp;his&nbsp;Birthday/graduation&nbsp;party&nbsp;in&nbsp;May&nbsp;of&nbsp;2022&nbsp;&nbsp;he&nbsp;shocked&nbsp;everyone&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;purposed&nbsp;marriage.&nbsp;I&nbsp;of&nbsp;course&nbsp;jumped&nbsp;up&nbsp;and&nbsp;down&nbsp;as&nbsp;though&nbsp;I&nbsp;caught&nbsp;the&nbsp;holy&nbsp;ghost&nbsp;and&nbsp;said&nbsp;"Yes"&nbsp;(Ok&nbsp;now&nbsp;we're&nbsp;sounding&nbsp;like&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;like&nbsp;a&nbsp;BET&nbsp;love&nbsp;story)&nbsp;&nbsp;lol.&nbsp;&nbsp;Eddie&nbsp;planned&nbsp;that&nbsp;well,&nbsp;he&nbsp;already&nbsp;asked&nbsp;my&nbsp;dad&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;hand&nbsp;and&nbsp;made&nbsp;sure&nbsp;my&nbsp;mom&nbsp;was&nbsp;there&nbsp;to&nbsp;witness&nbsp;the&nbsp;purposal..&nbsp;(Swoon..Right)&nbsp;.&nbsp;We&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;&nbsp;know&nbsp;a&nbsp;date&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;while&nbsp;and&nbsp;matter&nbsp;of&nbsp;fact&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives&nbsp;became&nbsp;so&nbsp;busy&nbsp;again&nbsp;we&nbsp;rarely&nbsp;had&nbsp;time&nbsp;to&nbsp;talk&nbsp;about&nbsp;it.&nbsp;However,&nbsp;here&nbsp;we&nbsp;are&nbsp;getting&nbsp;ready&nbsp;to&nbsp;start&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives&nbsp;together&nbsp;as&nbsp;Husband&nbsp;and&nbsp;Wife.&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;for&nbsp;reading&nbsp;about&nbsp;us!

Sweet, humble and Eddie has described her as a beautiful soul.  Mary ann is a Shy bad ass. This girl is a queen that can't be stopped from her all over travels and adventures, she has achieved the best part of living and she does it with style and grace. Prieda is sweet and quiet, very shy and is known as kind of corky. She is the friend that will share anything she had with you, her food, her seat, the clothes off her back.  Her heart is full. She is a determined women who takes life the way she wants to.  She is a wonderful mother of two and when you ask her she will boast about her children. Can I bring my child to the wedding?-You can, but do so at your discretion, Alcohol and Adult language and dancing will be aboard this wedding!
