What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 p.m.
We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space. Please do not arrive before 4:15 p.m. because the inside reception will not open until after the ceremony.
What time will your wedding reception end?
Our reception will end at 10:00 p.m.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors, while cocktail hour and the reception will be indoors. Guests will walk around to the side of the barn on a paved pathway but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stilettos or otherwise thin heels are not recommended.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Attire: Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual
We want our guests to feel their best while also being comfortable! Our wedding attire is semi-formal or dressy casual—think sundresses, cocktail dresses, dressy skirts, or nice slacks with button-ups or polos. Jackets and ties are optional.
Since our wedding is in June, we know it will likely be warm, so please dress in a way that allows you to enjoy the celebration comfortably. Light, breathable fabrics and summer-friendly styles are encouraged!
Most importantly, we just want you there to celebrate with us, so wear something that makes you feel good and ready to have fun!
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can deliver it to 178 Elam Street, Gordon, GA 31031. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
When Should I RSVP By?
Kindly RSVP by April 19, 2025. Your response will help us ensure we have the perfect head count for the celebration.
Should guests have their phones out during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you keep your phones put away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment, and our photographer and videographer will be capturing all the beautiful moments behind the lens.
Can guests bring plus ones?
We are only able to accommodate those on our guest list. We've carefully selected the people who have made a meaningful impact on our lives, and we want to celebrate this special day with them. We also welcome children and would love for them to be part of the celebration. If your child isn’t listed on the RSVP, please reach out to Philip or Melinda.
