Once upon a time (2018, to be exact), in a busy Vancouver restaurant, Taylor was a man on a mission: stay single, focus on his career, and avoid any sort of romantic “distraction.”Enter Melissa — who took one look at him and thought,&nbsp;challenge accepted.Taylor tried to keep things professional… Melissa tried to keep things interesting. She cracked jokes, made conversation, and generally ignored his “I’m not looking for anything serious” stance. Eventually, after enough witty banter and maybe some strategic charm, she wore him down.The deal was sealed one night after work. We ended up sitting outside with a bottle of wine, gazing over the ocean toward Science World, and swapping stories under the city lights. Somewhere between glass one and glass two, Taylor realized Melissa wasn’t just chasing him — she’d already caught him.Melissa claims she knew it from the start. Taylor claims he didn’t stand a chance. Both are right.
