Joshua and Melissa met one crisp fall evening while attending bingo with Melissa's twin sister Marcia and friends. Melissa was immediately charmed by Joshua's larger-than-life personality. The couple shares a love for hiking and the great outdoors!

Joshua proposed October 12, 2015 on top of the bluffs as the sun was setting. He led Melissa to a gorgeous overlooking view of La Crosse where he scattered pink rose petals in a circle of tea light candles with a single pink rose in the middle. His beautiful proposal was made even more special with a roar of applause from passing bystanders when Melissa said "Yes!".
