Located atop the Chavón River, Altos de Chavón is a re-creation of a 16th-century Mediterranean–style village. Narrow, cobble-covered alleyways lined with lanterns and shuttered limestone walls yield several good Mediterranean-style restaurants, a number of quaint shops featuring the diverse craftwork of local artisans, and three galleries exhibiting the talents of local students. It also hosts a cultural center, an archeological museum, and an amphitheater- a project conceived by the Italian architect Roberto Copa. The Roman-styled 5,000-seat amphitheater has hosted 20th century musical acts including Frank Sinatra and Santana.

Free shuttles from the main entrance can take you to/from the Altos part of the resort. You can also take your golf cart, but it’s about 15 minutes and you will be on the road with regular cars. For those who have international data included, Google Maps will work to guide you to/from Altos if you decide to go by golf cart.

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is proud to offer three pool areas for guests’ enjoyment. There is also a pool-side concierge service where you can be served your favorite tropical cocktail while enjoying a good book and the sun’s rays.

There is one main pool located by the main lobby and La Cana restaurant/bar.

There are two pools at the beach (both included as part of our package). One is for families and has a playground for the kids towards the back (left of entrance).

The other is part of the club house and is adult-only (right of entrance).

Towels are provided/returned at each water location (by the main pool and at the beach entrance). There is no need to pack towels or bring towels from the main pool to the beach.

The beach has easily accessible bathrooms.

The Minitas Beach Family Pool- 9 am- 6 pm

Beach Club Pool (adult only) 10am- 5pm

When you close your eyes and dream of the perfect Caribbean beach, chances are it looks a lot like the one at Casa de Campo.

When you arrive at the beach either by free shuttle or by using your golf cart (about 5 min ride), you will be given fresh towels at the entrance hut that you will return upon leaving. (towel hut opens at 8am)

Included in our package is the beach service, beach bar drinks/food and food trucks. Service directly to the lounge chairs is included but might be slow depending on how many people are at the beach.

Included with your stay is unlimited use of non-motorized water sports, such as kayaks and paddle boards, as well as snorkeling gear at Minitas Beach.

Casa de Campo is home to three golf courses, including the #1 golf course in the Caribbean, Teeth of the Dog. This golf course is currently only available for the driving range. There are four other golf courses available for 9 or 18 holes. Make a tee time in advance by calling the front desk (44) or texting in What’s App (866-931-9669). Golf clubs can be rented for free at the driving range and for an additional fee for the 9 or 18 hole courses.

All guests receive, 20% off tee times at The Links and Dye Fore courses. Reservations are required. We recommend booking upon your arrival to ensure availability. There is even night golf with multi-color LED golf balls to fill the night sky.

The farm also included a full petting zoo. Even if you don’t reserve horseback riding, it’s worth seeing this beautiful farm- the Dude Ranch. It’s only a 3 minute golf cart ride away.
