Nate was born, raised, and lived most of his life in Rochester, NY. He met the groom Jake when he was about 3 years old. The two of them grew up together the best of pals (and sometimes enemies), and even went to the same high school (Bishop Kearney) and college (RIT). Even though Jake has on multiple occasions moved away, he has been unsuccessful in breaking their great friendship. They have traveled the world together, drank many a nights away together, and shared more laughs than we care to count. Nate is beyond ecstatic to share this special day with Jake, as both a brother and best friend. He can't wait to see the life Jake and Melissa build together!

Samantha is from Orlando, FL. She and Melissa met in preschool at the fall festival in line for an inflatable alligator obstacle course. They also went to the same elementary and high school. In high school, they convinced people they were cousins their senior year just to get a better parking spot as Samantha was in student government.

Mike was born in Buffalo, NY and raised on a strict diet of wings and loganberry. Mike attended RIT and met Jake when they were both in their first year. They quickly became friends as they bonded over a shared love of SpongeBob references and flaming kids on league of legends. They went to trivia night every week and ate their weight in nachos, spent many hours in their rooms at night studying flashcards, and slayed the mightiest of foes during their Dungeons and Dragons sessions during their time at RIT. Then Jake decided that you can never have too much debt and enrolled in Dental school. Since then, Jake and Mike keep in contact by playing video games and sending a staggering amount of reels to each other on instagram.

Serena is from Boston, Massachusetts and relocated to Florida in 2015. When attending FGCU for school, she worked alongside Melissa as an RA where the two became on call partners but more importantly close friends. The two took on incident reports, chemistry labs, and late night Taco Bell runs together, growing ever closer. Upon graduating both Melissa and Serena moved to Sarasota, FL where their bond continued to grow! The most important part of their bond; they always get ice cream after dinner! Even now, while apart they still keep in touch via memes, a love of SpongeBob, and mini rants. Serena is excited to dance the night away and celebrate the joining of the two amazing humans, Jake and Melissa!

Victor is originally from Levittown, PA (Greater Philadelphia) and went to RIT with Jake. Victor is pretty sure they met during College and Careers, but Jake doesn’t recall this. They actually met freshman year when Victor decided he needed to try and be more outgoing. After meeting Jake in an admittedly awkward first hangout in dorms, Jake kept helping to push Victor further out of his comfort zone. They quickly decided to become roommates for the next two years before Victor ran off to Asheville for a co-op, which turned out to be one of Jake’s favorite cities to visit. When Victor comes down to Pittsburgh for work they try to grab dinner, but they usually keep in touch over Discord, beers and video games.

Natasha was born and raised just North of Clearwater Beach, Florida. She went to FGCU for college and that’s where she met the stunning bride! Melissa and Natasha lived and worked as RAs on the same floor in Palmetto Hall. Co-workers turned roommates the two ladies learned how to live with night shift nurses, put up with basketball player neighbors and Melissa taught Natasha several card games! Over the past few years they have supported each other from a distance while in grad school and Natasha is excited to support Melissa and Jake on their wedding day!

Dexter is from Windham, Maine, and met Jake early on in freshman orientation at RIT. Jake was the extrovert to adopt Dexter, and so all of Jake's friends quickly became Dexter's friends as well. The friendship only grew and developed over time at RIT, as Jake and Dexter basically spent all their time together - same classes, same job, same social circles. To this day, Dexter is proud to call Jake one of his closest friends.

Melody and Melissa met for the first time for OT program at Chatham University. She knew from week 1 that she wanted to be her friend. Since then, they have been inseparable, studying with each other almost every day. She cannot wait to celebrate Melissa on her very special moment and honored to be next to her in this new journey!

David is from Spencer, NY; a small town nestled in heart of the Finger Lakes. He and Jake met in the spring semester of their freshman year at RIT, after David moved in down the hall from him. Through thick and thin, and many Monday night trivia losses at Lovin' Cup, they have always made sure to have each other's back when push comes to shove. Through-out college and beyond, David and Jake have kept in touch, and always make time to see eachother when the other is in town (even if it usually is cutting it close on time).

Phebe was born and raised in the Philippines. She lived in Maryland for 6 years before moving to Pittsburgh to further her education in Occupational Therapy. Phebe first noticed Melissa during Anatomy class because she was the only one who could answer Dr. A's questions. Phebe decided to have a group study session at her place and asked Melody to invite others. Only Melissa showed up out of the 4 people that Phebe and Melody invited! That is how Phebe met Melissa for the first time. A few days later, Melissa invited Phebe for log pizzas and games. Phebe came over to Jake's and Melissa's place almost every night to study. That is a lot of time together for Phebe to get to know Melissa. But nothing prepared Phebe when she had a first-hand experience with a hangry Melissa. Phebe was so flustered that she couldn't get out of the car quickly, and things kept falling out of her hand! Phebe is a big supporter of Melissa and is looking forward to Jake and Melissa's big day!

Bradley is from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He moved back to his hometown with Sophia where he now practices dentistry. He met Jake through dental school at LECOM where they became great friends. Jake introduced Bradley to Scott and Gage through the sunny shores of Siesta Keys and White Claws. Those four years continued to be some of the best years of his life by Jake always bringing the dental school friend group together. Bradley is very excited to see Jake and Melissa get married and honored to be in the wedding party.

Sophia is from Williamsport, PA. She and Melissa met through their fiancés, soon to be husbands! She moved to Florida a couple of years ago to be with her boyfriend at the time, Bradley, who went to dental school with Jake. All of the dental school friends were getting together for Fourth of July and Jake brought his super cute new girlfriend, Melissa! Of course, we hit it off right away!

Gage is from Grove City, Pennsylvania. He is currently completing his Prosthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He met Jake through dental school at LECOM where he, Jake, Scott, and Brad all became best friends. Gage cannot wait to get the boys back together to celebrate Jake and Melissa's big day!

Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Megan accepted a job at the Crime Victim Center of Erie County in 2017. Five years later, Melissa was hired to fill an open position on Megan’s team. Although it wasn’t an instant friendship, a deep conversation one day at work led to why Melissa is now considered one of Megan’s favorite people. After hours of playing Skipbo (on the clock!) and sharing some hilarious tea about crazy people affecting Megan’s life at that time, a strong connection formed. Even after relocating to Pittsburgh for Jake’s residency program, Megan and Melissa remain close, maintaining an endless exchange of funny/relatable reels on Instagram. Megan is truly honored to get to be a part of Melissa’s wedding in this way, and is so excited to see her marry her “person” in 2025!

Scott grew up in Rockford, Illinois where he met his wife Savannah while in Kindergarten. He is currently in residency at the University of Kentucky, studying Orofacial Pain. Scott met Jake in his first year of dental school at LECOM, where he and Jake quickly formed a core group of friends, and stayed up way to late at night playing DND, League and just genuinely enjoying hanging out. Last year he and Jake both served on student government together and without a doubt, if they were able to survive that, they can make it through anything. Scott wants to wish Jake and Melissa nothing but happiness as they begin next part of their story!

Originally from Falls Church Virginia, Christine moved to Florida for dental school where she met her husband, Sam. The two currently reside in Sarasota Florida. Christine met Jake during their first year at LECOM. One of her fondest memories of Jake is of him in sim lab absolutely butchering a cast mount and having to teach him a thing or two. Throughout their time at LECOM Christine and Jake grew incredibly close. They went thought it all; the highs and lows, the good times and the bad, and they were there for eachother every step of the way. She is thrilled and honored to be a part of the union of these two incredible humans and wish them nothing but love and happiness.
